What should I wear to my massage?

At Therapeutic Massage for Women, we want you to be comfortable. Please undress to however you are comfortable in your private massage room.

What should I expect during my massage?

Your comfort is Therapeutic Massage for Women’s top priority. Keep the line of communication open with your massage therapist. Let her know pressure points and areas that need more or less attention. Talk to her about how you are feeling and what is relaxing and what isn’t.

What do I need to do after my massage?

Hydrate – Be sure to drink plenty of water after your massage. Your therapeutic massage for women will help your body release toxins and you need water to help flush those toxins fully from your system. However, avoid caffeine, as it can cause your recently relaxed muscles to tense back up.

Stretch – Stretching after your massage will help your muscles recover faster and help reduce any post-massage pain you may have.

Avoid strenuous activities – Be sure to get in your exercise and workouts before your massage. Once your muscles are relaxed, it’s easier to strain them with vigorous exercise.
